Argenta Syndicate Management Limited has provided us with the following update:

2021 Year of Account

The improved result forecast on the 2021 year of account is largely attributable to favourable claims

experience, particularly in relation to attritional claims, and an increase in expected investment

income.

2022 Year of Account

The 2022 year of account is also showing an improvement in the quarter. This is largely driven by a

reduction in reserves for major losses, a significant element of which related to Hurricane Ian, and an

increase in expected investment income.

Syndicate forecasts are expressed as a percentage of capacity and are after all standard personal expenses but before members’ agents’ fees.
