Argenta Holdings plc has signalled its further commitment to the Asia Pacific region by announcing plans to open a new branch of its Singapore-based subsidiary, Argenta Underwriting Asia Pte Ltd, in Sydney’s CBD.

The new branch office, which will be located on the Lloyd’s Sydney platform, is being headed up by Tim Higgins. Tim has 30 years’ experience in the Australian insurance market and joins Argenta from Mobius Underwriting Australasia, where he served as CEO for 4 years until 2014.

Andrew Annandale, Chief Executive Officer of Argenta Holdings plc announcing the move said: “We are delighted that Tim has agreed to join Argenta to head up our new Sydney office. The new branch will allow us to better serve our existing partners and provide us with the opportunity to expand our client base in the region by offering local access to the full range of products available from Argenta’s Lloyd’s Syndicate 2121.”
